Welcome to the official website of the Lazaretto! We're excited to share the history of this historic building and our passion for preservation as our building moves from its current state to a centerpiece for Tinicum Township and the surrounding community.
The Lazaretto is the oldest surviving quarantine station in the Western Hemisphere and the seventh oldest in the world.
